WELCOME TO CAMILLO LAKES

Recently I had the pleasure of speaking with Mauricio Handal, Sales Professional for Legend Homes in Camillo Lakes. This up and coming neighborhood is quickly becoming a top pick of people from all parts of Greater Houston and for good reason. When you combine a well respected Houston builder with the award winning Katy Independent School District and add in beautiful homesites you've got a recipe for success. New sections are already being started in anticipation of continued brisk sales. Mauricio says the community pool will be finished soon as will the clubhouse. There is a lot to like about this secluded community not far from major freeways. Contact me Chris Newton 281-770-7932 and let me show you why Camillo Lakes is a great choice for your family in Katy, Texas.
We’re proud to be part of the #1 ranked Katy ISD by niche.com. Because it means that our school-age residents get a quality education in a top-rated district. What can we say? We love learning.
Since Bethke Elementary opened in 2016, it has nurtured Elyson's youngest students in a state-of-the-art facility that encourages collaboration at an early age. Activity centers for every grade level (along with curved hallways with stools, counters and charging stations) allow kids to gather in smaller groups and share knowledge. Of course, the school supports individual learning, too. With a Makerspace where students can explore projects that intrigue them, such as robotics and coding.
The school also offers the latest and greatest in technology, like SMART boards and iPads. And the classrooms are just as impressive—with science labs that include outdoor learning areas, a library that opens to an outdoor amphitheatre, a gym with a rock-climbing wall and an art room that opens up to a courtyard.
We know what you're thinking. We want to go back to elementary school, too.
Stockdick Junior High opened in 2017, introducing a new era of collaborative and individualized learning for the Katy Independent School District. The school was designed from the ground up to embrace the newest trends and technologies in education, with an all-new architectural design that Assistant Principal Chris Bailey calls "the version 3.0 of education."
Cutting edge features allow the curriculum to be delivered in new and exciting ways, and six flexible-use spaces encourage students to collaborate with each other.
And Stockdick Junior High helps make the transition to high school easy, too. A common "learning green" is shared with neighboring Paetow High School, and the fine arts departments at the junior high and high school are aligned, with team teaching and collaborating on a daily basis.
In other words, school just got really cool.
Paetow High School thinks beyond the traditional. And that starts with the new, three-story, L-shaped design, which reflects an emphasis on student-driven learning and real-world connections. A "learning green" the size of 8 football fields is one of many unique features that you'll discover when you visit for the first time. And three sets of "learning stairs" provide spaces for students and teachers to gather for collaborative learning, arts performances and other activities.
Paetow offers a well-rounded curriculum that acknowledges the importance of arts and athletics. Art classrooms have access to outdoor studio areas, and a 900-seat performing arts center sets the stage for performances. Students have the opportunity to participate in 16 sports—including swimming in the onsite natatorium.
And then there's the technology. Filtered WiFi is present in each classroom, along with five Chromebooks available for student use (family-owned devices are more than welcome as well). Each classroom also has a 55-inch smart panel computer, allowing students and teachers to conduct research and share presentations with the entire class. Paetow also brings in guest speakers (Google was one of the first) that will help every student find his or her path and passion, whether that’s going to college or finding an apprenticeship. (Sorry, seniors. You can't stay here forever.)
